I don't want to be an artist. I don't want to be a poet either. I don't want to be a musician. I don't want to be a star at all. It's not wealth nor fame I seek. I am the inventor, the contemplative, the artificer, the composer, the engineer, the rational mind. I am the dreamer and the mooner, the fool, I am the wakeful and grave, the sober.
I am the lone and spiky Quill, the hedgehog.
I am the lone and spiky Quill, the hedgehog.
Why this name?
Thorns, quills, spikes and stings: some'd say they're all the same. But quills are unique. Hedgehogs have them...
Do you play live?
Yes, but not regularly (yet). I perform with the band 'Frost Bite'.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends.
Band History:
• 1995: Started the Frost Bite (which is not any of the Frost Bites found on soundclick.com) with Gabe Keleti
• 1996: The Frost Bite created a lo-fi demo album titled 'Instead of peace'
• 1997: Frost Bite temporarily halts
• 2000: Quill's demo album 'The hedgehog', Frost Bite relives and performs
• 2001: The Frost Bite expands into a complete band and accompanies Quill on live events
• 2002: Re-recording of the demo album 'The hedgehog'

Your influences?
Very wide... from synthpop to post-psychadellic rock, but mostly rock / post rock with drops of jazz and swing.
Anything else...?

Press reviews:
"Where does a person begin to describe the sonic sound of Quill. Elegant in it's vibe, vast in it's expanse, mature in it's delivery of Kate Bushesque "Running Up That Hill" arrangements. The track "Echoes Of Deimos" is a multi-dimensional experience that doesn't require the hippy lettuce to leave this plane." - by SWRECORDS.NET
