Project BLACKLIGHT sucks and you shouldnt listen to us... I dont know what alternative hip hop is but it sounds like us. we are a group out of Limestone ME, we met in school in a video production class and started doing music. blah blah blah. the group consists of myself (JP) and Jesse (Dopey) and hopefully we will add someone else soon.
Why this name?
I dont remember... we had a video group and couldnt think of a name. Dopey came up with the name i think.... everyone keeps asking if were making fun of project greenlight and we always tell them "NO!!!HOLY sh*** NO!!!!! PLEASE f***ING DIE NOW!!!!"
Do you play live?
I wish we could play live... not quite popular enough yet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It doesnt promote very well but it allows people to steal your music annonomously and thats all that matters
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell yea, but I wouldnt do any of that f***ing MTV shit... f*** that.
Your influences?
I like Aphex twin,ICP,D&B and breakbeats, I listen to alot of artists on the internet Dopey isnt here to give his... but he listens to alot of ICP & Twisted, and a bunch of crappy Emo bands hahaha
