1000 Swings comes from the ashes of Hideous Heinous. Led by vocalist and main songwriter Ian LeSabre. 1000 Swings is a "rock hodgepodge" a combination of various rock elements from driving metal to soothing R.E.Mish style alternative rock.
Why this name?
We took are name from a Drivin N Cryin song. I just thought it was a cool name for a band so it stuck.

Band started in 2002. Features Ian LeSabre (Vocals), Mighty Quinn (Guitar), Bunyin Yang (Bass) and Jazzy Jo (Drums).
Your influences?
Biggest influences are Drivin N Cryin, Cheap Trick, Rush, Incubus, Our Lady Peace and King's X.
Favorite spot?
Arizona is great. Also liked Atlanta.
