Ggreg has been destroying chords on the guitar since taking a 1 semester course as a senior at Los Gatos High School (in Northern California.) He has not had a guitar lesson since. He uses it solely as a songwriting tool, and has written 100+ songs to date.

If he is known at all, it is for his erstwhile acting career, which has seen him appear on USA: Up All Night, The Man Show, Beat the Geeks (as the Saturday Morning Geek,) and Trekkies 2 (three appearances were as himself; he denies reports that he beat out George Wendt for the role.) He has also written comedy for National Lampoon, The Tonight Show and various comedy acts.

He has been working on his album for about 10 years now, and will finish it (only 4 songs to go) as soon as he gets some more bread and a bit of gumption.

He ultimate dream is to someday be a real boy.

Why this name?
On or about my 30th birthday I said to myself, "Hey, how about an extra G at the beginning of my name?" So I did it...
Do you play live?
I haven't done a live gig in quite awhile, though I could be persuaded.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives shmucks like me a place to be heard, and that is either good or bad. Plus, all this downloading irks the record company bozos, and that's all good.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, and I'm sure that all the big record companies are looking for folk singers in their late 40's. Every A&R guy in LA is scouring the world for the next Leonard Cohen.
Your influences?
As a boy, I was into 70's pop like the Captain and Tennille, Kenny Rogers and Bobby Goldsboro. Somewhere in high school, a girl turned me on to Pat Benatar and by the time I got into college I was a die-hard Pretenders fan. Despite all that, my music still sounds like a cross between Loudon Wainwright and the Eagles. My guilty pleasure is chick singers like the late Kate Wolf. I loves me some Dixie Chicks.
Favorite spot?
To anyone reading this: Wherever you are from, that's my favorite city.
Equipment used:
A Takemine accoustic-electric nylon string guitar.
Anything else...?
I am currently traveling the world, searching for a special guy named "me".
