Binary Intro
We're a hip hop group based in the greater los angeles area, combining our talents into one life form. Our passion fuels our minds to constantly be generating dope music. It's Jae-ill on the production side with his own love for turntablism and on the mic, it's Prophetic and Maj-Eye supplyin the lyrics. It's just our separate elements being molded into one. The element of instrumental sounds and the element of lyrical sounds. Binary Vizion, nothing more and nothing less.
Why this name?
It's our separate visions fusing into one.
Do you play live?
Occasionally, we do shows with live underground audiences. Whenever the opportunity comes around.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Its revolutionizes music especially for independent artists like us. The internet is the most powerful tool, next to radio shows and mass media broadcasting. You can get your music out to the public so much easier just through the internet. Performing live and word of mouth is still on top but the internet allows people to look deeper into a group rather than whatever was perceived just a performance.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not at this time in our lives. We got too much to say about certain topics that major record labels just wouldn't agree on.
Band History:
It started out wit me (Prophetic) and Dj Jae-ill. We shared this passion for creating raw hip hop music from scratch and ironically, I emcee and he deejays and produces. It worked out well and then we picked up Maj-Eye and everything's been workin out pretty well.
Your influences?
In the realm of hip hop, I share an impartial respect for all kinds of artists. I bump Styles of Beyond, Abstract Rude, Jedi Minds, Dilated, People Under the Stairs, and all kinds of other cats doin their thing. I guess I'm more into what the underground community is putting out, rather than the more popular heads.

LOS ANGELES.
