Nico Vidal AKA "Khemillion" is a more seasoned music producer. Started making beats in High School when Hip Hop was still Golden. Began as a DJ, then MC'd had a local group in Maryland called Sable Supremacy in 1987. Got on a small label called Gold Rush Records for a year in 1991.

Participated in Rap It up 1992. Aspired to be on the now defunct Relativity Records. Dissappeared into the millitary for a decade but still did music for the love of it, becoming a well versed disciple of the Akai MPC. Amassed a respectable home studio and produced a few tracks for a slew of local artists in Washington state including Raw B and Justice of MastaMind Entertainment, Mizter Bloody of Black Rose Entertainment, J'sin of High Stress Music (Dats My Dude Man Fo'real!), NoRoc Records, and Lynx Records recording artists to name a few.
Not chasing the "Street Dream" anymore and a bit jaded, I still bang tracks out for future hopefuls. Know how to produce a record start to finsh from conception of ideas to a uniform sound. A "true textbook" definitive producer, not your dime-a-dozen beatmaker. I get money for club managers/owners they give me a venue, ya dig?
Why this name?
Simple: middle name spelled sdrawkcab
Do you play live?
Done a show in Maryland. Multiple ones in Seattle, Tacoma, Bremerton. One in Hawaii. I got more than a few under my belt. I HATE doing shows! I make beats so at a show, I do more like ad-libs and "hype-man" ish. Always nervous as hell. Just use my swag to fake like I'm cool.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Catch 22. It lets people see what's up. It's better for networking. Lots of cats can bite your style! But you shouldn't be scared of that. IF they do, shoot that's just confirmation your hot! It's happened to me more than 3x already!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No, I don't have time to sit on the bench and wait for my promotion, recording budget, ect. when the "Big Dogs" just leave scraps. Major Labels are money whores and they just go with who they know do big figures. I'll take distribution from a major though.
Your influences?
Eric Sermon, Hi-Tek, Soopafly, Alchemist ,Ali Shaheed Muhummad.
Favorite spot?
MY spot when I'm surrounded by people that got love for me and they know and love their music like me. It's great to be in a studio session when the chemistry is there. Can jam all night! I been around the Rock doe! Hawaii and Australia is off the meter!
Equipment used:
Akai MPC 2000XL, Roland MV-8800,Yamaha MO6, Proteus PK-6 (M.I.A.), Akai DPS 16, Stanton TT, Crates of Vinyl ( Priceless!), Korg MS2000BR, A Few Area 51 pieces (secret) - Nothin' really new! The old gear is a hitmakers weapons of choice!
Anything else...?
I quit trying to be in THE GAME. It's WWE BS now. I wanna get a job in it and not just produce. Maybe work for a Music lawyer and catch samples sneaky mainstream artists be tryin' to flip. I got a sniper rifle ear, fam!
