The Rock Cats are a hip new Rockabilly Blues Band.
Why this name?
We want to Rock Cat to the top of the charts.
Do you play live?
We play Home Brewers Fests. We played to 1,500 people at one!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Exposure changes everything. Music industry has always been about distribution. Information is easier to distribute than anything else. I believe that in the future the bulk of the money made in the music industry will be made by independent producers.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure. They have music marketing and distrabution down to a science. Right now that is still the way to go if you want to get your songs heard and make money.
Band History:
Lenny (upper left) is the wiry lead guitarist and loves to get his twang on. Ziggy (upper right) is a cool cat on the drums and plays them like a machine. KK (lower left) playes the Harp and does his thing singing and playing rhythm guitar. Mongo (lower right) keeps the Bass line rock solid. Together they are the Rock Cats
