This is the first song written for my girl Linds.
Hope you like.
This is...a Christmas song, a silly Christmas song...and yes, I do know that it's September 1st. heh
This is maybe my take on 'Something Tells Me I'm Into Something Good' by Hermans Hermits. I think the title sounds funny, like I'm ego tripping on my new song and think it's great, haha.
A little song about being trapped in love with some girl who will tear you apart.
It's SO tempting to fall into, something that will eventually destroy you...but in the best way.
We all know those types.
This song is about 3 years old I think...I just thought it sounded a lot like 'Hello, I'm in Delaware' chord structually...and I laughed.
In a way this song is about me and a lot of the people I know who love photography.
After a 2 month pause, Jay writes something new...woo?
Old song, new version!
First song written in 2006. A song about whats on my mind...but it's also injected with some sort of fantasy...basically like ALL my love songs.
This song was written by my Father in 1970 for my Mom on their wedding day. Me and Tami (my sister) chose to rerecord it for their 35th wedding anniversary. Have a listen, it's a nice song.
A song about distance and romance (hence the title), I know firsthand what it feels like to be in a long distance romance, so does my sister...planes, buses, car trips...long drives, phonecalls, text messages, emails, AIM and MSN
This song was specifically written about whats going on in my head and heart.
A real poppy, Beach Boys type song. One of the very first songs I ever wrote most of. The story is interesting, please read it.
I wrote this for...Cristina, haven't heard from her in a while.
The first quasi-Christmas song of the year.
Expect a couple more before the year is out.
So I am addicted to writing songs after I get home from work, obviously. Which sucks cause it's so late...this one is for Tami, my sister. A song of encouragement for her and to anyone else really.
I get home from work normally at 2:30am, for some reason I picked up my guitar and decided to write AND record this song...before bed. It's very one-take and lo-fi, too much distortion, etc etc. It captured the song though.
Came home after a small party and felt like writing, ended up recording too...got to bed right after 3am.
I'm unsure what style this is, lets just say new wave pop/rock? It's tight but cheesy...I dunno. I think I like it though, it's brand new.
This is another song written a while ago but I've chosen to basementize-demo it. Hope you like.
Very true story, well, maybe not entirely true.
But started true, then turns to make believe.
Ok, I admit, this song is weird. I love it though. I originally wrote this piece for the 'Sausagehead' score. I thought of some lyrics at work, while working. So now, it's done.
It's funny. haha
To capsulize the story, I was in Montreal on vacation, basically. I went Friday and would leave Sunday at around 8pm. I had a GREAT time seeing the city Friday and Saturday, but didn't get ANY sleep. Until me and Hailey woke up on Sunday...at...8pm.
