SOUSE is the combined effort of seven veteran musicians paying homage to their jazz/funk/fusion influences and forging a new path with their own unique and original compositions.

SOUSE's music is built around layered rhythms and dynamic movement anchored by infectious melodies and filled with open improvisational passages.
Why this name?
SOUSE is sometimes nasty, but always tasty.
Do you play live?
The improvisational nature of SOUSE's music is best reflected in live performance. You will find SOUSE performing regularly at clubs that feature jazz or jam music in the region of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It offers bands an effective alternative for promotion that previously didn't exist. More importantly, it offers an alternative to music fans. We no longer have to rely on outside sources to tell us what is worthy of our attention.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Definitely if the right offer presented itself. It would depend on the label and the specifics of the contract.
