we are crimson orchid, we come from pasadena maryland. Each of us have been in music for some time now, with other bands. Our music would be described as inflames, metallica, and any european metal band put into a blender. This is our life and we take it serious. For us, there is nothing else but music. MUSIC IS LIFE!!!!!!!!
Why this name?
one evening, we decided to drink,... heavily. in this drunken stooper, we decided to form a band, ... after many many hours we chose the name that described our music, beautiful, yet, dirty.
Do you play live?
yes, we have played at the vault, brass monkey, and other various locations in maryland, and enjoy every minute of it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it allows people to sample music b4 they make their purchase, instead of buying a cd for one good song, and the rest being crap.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
absoultely, if it suits our needs.

metallica, in flames, sevendust, ozzy osbourne, sabbath of course, iron maiden, nevermore, sentenced, and jus about anything wit hard ass guitars
Favorite spot?

Equipment used:
we use prs guitars, dean basses, fender basses, peavey xxx amplification, crate, and peavey cabinets, pearl drums, with zildigian cymbals, and primiere double bass pedal, and of course, shur michrophones.
