Vinyl is still popular. The first release, on my own Sand and Palms label, was a 7" 45 RPM vinyl record, the format of early rock 'n' roll. It was pressed in three different colors.
Why this name?
This is my own name. I registered it as a band name on 9-30-00. My ISBNC (International Standard Band Name Code) is 20055538.

I also have a registered band name, Wagonwheels, 8-14-02, ISBNC is 30096055
Do you play live?
Yes, I play live in a venue where they have the equipment and sound system to spin the karaoke background tracks of my songs.

I enjoyed performing at Cool Moe's Place in St. Petersburg, Florida.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps unsigned bands and artists, like myself, to test out our songs, and music videos, with a real audience.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, if there were no "recoupable" clauses. Need a loan? Go to a bank. Refuse an advance from the label.

Artists and bands do not receive royalties from CD sales until the loan is paid back to the recording company.
Band History:
I'm a songwriter and musician in Pinellas Park, Florida, with over 180 copyrighted songs and instrumentals.

I play lead, rhythm, and bass guitar, keyboard, harmonica, and percussion. Have performed professionally in musical groups in North Carolina and Florida.

Two of my songs have a manufactured produced connected to it...Bald Head Diva Gourmet Steak Sauce.

Some of today's artists and bands, such as Kim Lentz, Dragstrip 77, Josie Kreuzer. Hot Rod Lincoln, and others, record and release rockabilly, doo wop, and 1960s garage band, and beach songs. So do I.
Your influences?
The early rock n' rollers are my inspirations, rather they be individual vocalists, groups, or bands.

Booker T. & The MGs, Junior Walker & The All Stars, The Ventures, The Fireballs, The Beach Boys, Eddie Cochran, Rick Nelson, Gene Vincent, Ritchie Valens, Buddy Holly, Extreme, Creedence Clearwater, John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band inspired my style
Favorite spot?
St, Petersburg, Florida.
Equipment used:
I record with a 1996 Roland VS-880 Digital Studio Workstation and use the Cool Edit Pro 2 Software program.
