SoundClick artist: Baal Mefisto - Experimental Electronic

It is a pun on words. Baal is a Sumerian word that means lord, and Mefisto comes from Mephisto which is in itself derived from the greek name Mephistopheles which means one who shuns the light. It is more of a joke than anything serious.

Do you play live?

No...I think it would be a very boring show with me just plugging in my computer. I wouldn't mind playing live, but right now, it just isn't feasible.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It allows people to have a chance for others to hear their work that they would not have had without the internet.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Sure....but I do not foresee that.

Band History:

I am an ametuer. I started making music in June of 2003. I do not play any instruments, and before that music was something I only dreamed of doing.

Your influences?

NIN, Crystal Method, and Juno Reactor are the major ones. I have been influenced by a lot of artists that make music with the same program that I use as well.

Favorite spot?

I do not think I have found it yet.

Equipment used:

Reason 2.5, Rebirth 2.0.1,...I just now starting to build my musical arsenal. Reason is a great place to start.
