Clubbed To Death: Electronica, folk and pop. But usually not all at once.
Why this name?
When nightclubs get a bit old, then you're Clubbed To Death.
Do you play live?
I just play in the studio at the moment!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
An interactive radio station in which you can browse for mp3s.. still, there's nothing like a CD in your hand, or even better, a vinyl record.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Band History:
It started seriously a few years ago upon acquiring a Yamaha soundcard; the studio has expanded quite a bit since then, and the mess of wires at the back of my desks is something that has to be seen to be believed..
Your influences?
Quite wide and varied - Kraftwerk, Kraftwelt, Orbital, Chemical Brothers, Boards of Canada, Sandy Brechin, Burach, Ash Ra Temple, Cocteau Twins, Yellow Magic Orchestra, to name a few.
Favorite spot?
Loch Awe.
Equipment used:
Yamaha SW1000XG, Nord Lead 2, couple of Korg Electribes, Yamaha DX200 (FM synth), acoustic + bass guitars, some effects boxes, a Behringer Eurorack mixer and the ubiquitous PC.
Anything else...?
Nothing I can think of, no..
