Why this name?
The Beatles had a big impact on my life...not just my music. I'm not sure what the influence they've had on my sound ...you'll have to be the judge of that. I'm sure my stuff isn't as pretty as theirs...Hence, the Ugly Beatle
Do you play live?
I was the Open Mic Host at: "Now & Zen Cafe." Located in Macomb Township. I'm also playing out at any open mic I can find in the Metro Detroit area. Most of my material is converted to an acoustic format to fit in with the open mic standard... it's usually at small coffee shops,like Xhedos in Ferndale:-)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I hope that people that love music and want to support the artist will find away to support them. In the mean time this is a great way to get MP3 files on to your MP3 player...my kids all have one...I'm going to have to get one too:-)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'd be interested in talking about a deal, but the industry is changing. I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
Band History:
Currently I'm a solo artist. I'm looking for other band members, to help pull off my songs live. Until I hook up with the right musicians, My live performances are all on acoustic guitar.
Your influences?
Beatles Rule! I like harmony bands like: Queen, Eagles, Beach Boys, DC5, Yes, The Hollies. Other great Bands: The Who, ELP,Alice Cooper, Nirvana, Police, Cars.
Favorite spot?
I LOVE Lake Tahoe! I had a Timeshare there, it's a beautiful place:-)
Anything else...?
This site and several others such as: Hot Chicks, Replay, Pretty Girls,and Again were experimental. At this time(2005) no new songs will be added to this site. All new songs will be posted on the Doodle page at Soundclick.
