I started playing guitar at 15, had been writing songs even before that (but I played drums in a few failed bands). After recording soemwhere around 40-50 songs in a two-year span, I took a year off from songwriting. I got back into writing and am in the process of recording a new CD, "Good Times in a Ghost Town". The sound is more mature, the lyrics are more articulate, and the music is all-around better.
Why this name?
It sounded catchy. It sounded optimistic, which isn't exactly me, but maybe that's the point. Despite my pessimism, I know that it's somewhat unfounded and that things may go well after all. That, and it sounded catchy.
Do you play live?
Not yet. Hopefully sometime this summer, though, maybe.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's made it incredibly easy to get heard.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, I mean, I'm not making money off the internet.
Band History:
I was born, some things happened, I got a guitar, I learned to play it, I used a stellar vocabulary and sense of composition to write songs, I mixed the two; rinse, lather, repeat. It's 2007. I'm 19. I'm still doing it.
Your influences?
I'm influenced musically by Time and Distance recently, but also Dashboard, Further Seems Forever, I dont really know...Starting Line maybe.

I'm influenced lyrically by Brand New, Park, Boys Night Out and I guess myself, haha.
Favorite spot?
Im usually content anywhere I go...but favorite...um...crap. I'll just say San Diego is really tight.
