Been a while since i've added any music to the site, i've been busy on various projects latly and since I have a lot of work on at college i've not been making any music to release for free. Just to keep you updated ive got my own record label starting within the next 2 weeks called Solar Core Records. The first release is all set with a remix from producer JS Ten. Urban Lea was created by Daniel Lea in January 2002. Daniel is 19 years old from the Merseyside area in the North West of England. Daniel has been producing music for the last few years which has since led onto remix work from NuLife Records with artists such as Ian Van Dahl. Urban Lea creates electronic music based around the trance genre and was originally started as an internet music project based on mp3.com. This led on to Daniel sending out demo cd's to labels which landed Urban Lea's first release in July 2003 on the simply recordings label. This went on to recieve plays from Paul Van Dyk, Warp Brothers and Rob Tissera with the track also being played by Dave Pearce on his radio 1 dance anthems show.

Urban Lea's latest release features Spellcast / Threshold and Firecone which is currently out on limited 50 12" records via Simply Recordings. This release is currently getting plays from the likes of Grayham Gold, Alex P, Big Al and many more with the track being ranked #1 in the Tune Inn Records Cool Cuts / Buzz Chart during april of this year. The track is set for a full release within the next upcoming weeks.

Various artists throughout a range of diffrent genres, these include such artists as The Orb, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Chemical Brothers and djs such as Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto and Ferry Corsten. Recently I had the pleasure of meeting Italian Pianist Ludovico Einaudi whilst working as a techy at one of the venues on his uk tour whose music really inspired me!
