Three piece, from Helen's Bay, Co. Down, Northern Ireland. Bill Long (voices, keyboards, sampler), Andy Gorham (guitar, bass, keyboards, sampler) and Phil Anderson (drums, sampler).
Why this name?
It reflected the...er...Technology we were using. It was going to be a stop-gap until we thought of something better. Fifteen years later we're still using it.
Do you play live?
We've never played live and have no intention of ever doing so. Technology is a studio-bound project.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Greater choice. Greater availability. Hopefully the destruction of the big labels for a more organic DIY cottage industry, like the label we're on, Blue Rhythm.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No.
