This is a band I was in a couple of years ago. After releasing this CD, we split up. Since that time, 3 of the 5 of us reformed and began using the name XLR8 again, but none of the material from this CD is being used by them anymore.
Why this name?
The keyboard player did it... I actually never liked it much.
Do you play live?
We did, lots.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The net has taken some of the power away from the record companies is all. The only musicians who care are the ones with good contracts. Most musicians make their money from live shows and other sources, not from CD sales (which is where the label makes ITS money).
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, provided it was a good deal. Not jump jumping in the sack with the 1st one to drop their pants though.
