I am a composer, working extensively with algorithmic and fractal music. I also write classical music - any ensemble considered. :)
Why this name?
It's my own name - easier that way.
Do you play live?
I don't play live now. I used to perform as an orchestral/band violinist and keyboards, which I loved.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes a wider choice available to people.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Erm... hellooooo - of course! :)
Band History:
I have been involved in music to a greater or lesser extent since I was very young. I went to Cheethams School of Music, Manchester and Trinity College of Music, London, which is where I first took up composition seriously.
Your influences?
Boulez, Webern, Penderecki, Lutoslawski, Ligeti, lots more... Rock bands: Pink Floyd, Soft Machine, Gong, Genesis, King Crimson, Hawkwind, The Orb, etc. etc. etc.
Favorite spot?
Anything else...?
I spent some time not very active in music when I was caring for a very special person until she died. During that time, I first became interested in PCs. I eventually got interested in fractal art (I have a fractal web site at, and saw a lot in common with my methods of composition.
