A residual descendant from another post-punk/brit pop rock group Salad Days, LOVE SATELLITES promises great "pop" tunes influenced from the late 80's following the steps of D' Rockers, and Baby Gram. LOVE SATELLITES weaves a better concoction of music panning their influences from the likes of Jesus and Mary Chains, Stone Roses, The Cure, Sugar Hiccup, Morrissey, The Smiths and more...
Why this name?
Former vocalist Mark Taladua narrated a legend about tunnels carved below ancient Vatican where religious leaders flock to celebrate a "spiritual" deed of sexual activities. Although, this information was unofficially unleashed, the story inspired the band and chose to adapt. The name was originally contrived as Love Tunnels and Satellites and was eventually shortened for convenience.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3 has immensely changed the global music culture. In some ways, it works to a disadvantage for large record companies, yet at a micro-instant, a bigleap for the more-often-neglected-but-extremely-talented artists across the globe.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Indie is the way to go!
