A year has now passed since we chose to experiment with marketing our music through channels such as iTunes, Napster, Amazon and others.
As this experiment has convinced us that keeping our day jobs was indeed a very wise idea, that album will no longer be available after April 24, 2009.
It's for that reason that we've re-enabled downloads for all our music on here - if you like what we've done, feel free to download it and add it to your collections.
Why this name?
The original 3 members had already chosen it - and I liked it a lot!
Do you play live?
We played all the "L" places in Providence in the mid 80's - Living Room, Last Call, Lupos, etc. We opened for the Outlaws, Jorma Kaokonen (sp?), and had some great nights.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I wish they'd both have been available back in the mid to late 80's when we were most active!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not any more....we've moved on to other things.
Band History:
Ed, Al, and Steve had played together many times in different bands as they grew up, all being native New Englanders from the area. I was (and still am) the native New Yorker who moved north and met Al strictly by coincidence. Once we played together the first time, the music began from there.
Your influences?
Classic Rock - Beatles, Who, Zep, Steely Dan, Cream - at least speaking for myself. Steve is a rock and roller, Ed would absolutely list Roger McGuinn, and Alfie would lean more towards the blues influences (B.B. King, et al).
Favorite spot?
Coney Island - couple of dogs and a cream soda at Nathan's, then maybe a spin or two on the Cyclone!
Equipment used:
Now? A surround system with HDTV, thanks.
Anything else...?
As of 2009, we are no longer writing, recording, or producing.
