Vernian Process is a Neo-Classical/Darkwave/Industrial project. The sound is very Film Score / Dark Ambient.. but with some more dance friendly songs thrown in the mix. Everything is drenched in strings, and symphonic/orchestral effects. Some of the songs will incorporate a very "Industrial Revolution" sound as well.. with samples of steam engines, gigantic gears, pistons, etc.
Why this name?
Vernian: is a refference to "Jules Verne" the Victorian author (and father) of modern Science Fiction. The mood of this project is supposed to invoke images of a Fictional Victorian world.

Process: (This should be self explanatory), The process of creating music that would be ahead of it's time in the late 1800's, but decidely classical to a modern mindset.
Do you play live?
Not yet, but if it ever happened, there would be a very big stageshow to go with it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I believe that the internet is one of the greatest tools a modern musician can have for distribution of their work. Personally I don't write music for profit.. I just do it because I'm an artist.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If they were willing to negotiate my demands.. such as a massive budget for a live show. I want flying butresses, full working factory machinery, etc. in my live show. Which I doubt will ever happen.. but it's a nice dream.
