Hello Im Thomas Flanery Singer/Songwriter. I'm a BMI songwriter and a member of the North Texas Songwriters Association and the Nashville Songwriters Association. Thanks for viewing my page and give the tunes a listen, you won't regret it.
Why this name?
Trixster-T is my stage name, had to start using one when I had people calling in the middle of the night because they found me in the phone book.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
For me I think it has gotten my material out to people I may have never reached before. In this Biz the more people know of your name the better off you will be.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Most definitly yes, wanted that contract for a long time.

Your influences?
I'm more of a ballad type songwriter but also have a little edgey side on some material. Most influenced by the great Merle Haggard, but heavy influence on the early Garth Brooks and George Strait styles. Brooks and Dunn and Montgomery Gentry styles are also something I like to work with.
Favorite spot?
My favorite spot on earth, HMMM have to say I love Nashville, just music all around the excitement and emotions are everywhere, but I do kind of like sitting in a deer stand when its 20 degree's outside dreaming of things to come.
Anything else...?
I would like to say thanks to several people who really try to help out new artist. Michelle at BMI if you read this thanks. Also the Nashville Songwriters Association for the services they offer newcomers, and the guys at the North Texas Songwriters Association, they have to listen to the tunes before I get them finished. St Judes in Memphis has inspired one of my songs (Miracle In Memphis) they are a really great bunch of people, and if you get a chance visit thier website and just read up on some of the things they are doing to help Children. And my wife, Denise, she stands behind me 100% when it comes to following my dreams. Visit my website www.thomasflanery.com
