Well were getting down to some serious song writing now and hopefully in a couple of months we will have a more up to date demo for you to get your hands on.

1 Foot Forward has a fine blend of punk and metal, although we have no set genre, we do like to play a bit of the old classic pop punk when in the practice room. But i think our music is progressing more towards the metal side of things.
Why this name?
It sounded better than our previous name "Jellied Ape Fists". We chose it by using a clever form of martial arts, mathmatics and a ferret who was an expert in quantum physics and dabbled in the black arts.
Do you play live?
We do like to play live, I remember when we played live in malves garage for a special 1 off personal gig just for Tom downes, that was a special moment
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives bands who are less well known a chance to get their music across.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yeh, course, well depending on the contract, but yeh i dont see why not.
Your influences?
Well we listen to a lot of Blink 182, Deftones, a bit of Green day, Pennywise, Nofx and a mixture of other melodic metal and pop punk bands.
But recently most of our stuff is turning a bit more metal but we still have the punk feeling to it.

Anywhere with a stage and screaming crowd.
