Clatter is not your average rock band. This two-piece band -- bass and drums -- from central Missouri blends rhythmic mayhem with melodic melodies to create a new brand of rock music -- without guitars.
Why this name?
Clatter is a fun word to say.
Do you play live?
We love to play live and have travelled all over the US with various bands. We hope to be able to play overseas in the near future.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We have fans from all over the world, from Australia to Qatar to England. It's so much easier to reach people in distant lands now that the internet makes it possible for anyone in the world to hear your music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends. We're happy going the DIY route and doing all the work ourselves, but if we feel that our music will reach more people if we are allied with a larger entity, we would consider that option.
