David Machado - Guitars
Michael Richardson - Bass
Paul Babineaux - Drums
Terry "Buddy" Pendergrass - Vocals
Blaac Abour formed in 2003, in the Jackson area of Mississippi. Our motive is to get inside the minds of society and open up the wisdom within, before crushing the skulls with an atomic force known only as extreme metal. We have played the local not-so-hot spots and struggle as a band to keep the scene alive.

Why this name?
Blaac Abour is the creative idea of the David Machado. As far as why it was chosen...who knows?
Do you play live?
We play live as much as possible. Mainly around the Jackson area until we are able to get further out of town. We love doing the shows. Live performances get the name out and bring the scene together. Everytime someone passes through the front door is a special moment.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The mp3 is a wonderful creation for the smaller guys. I would certainly say that it has changed the music industry. If records sales have dropped, they did not drop by much. An mp3 is an easier way of helping a person decide whether or not they will like what is on the album. The hot shot musicians who have enough money to keep their great grand children from having to work act like a $15 loss is going to cause bankruptcy. They are already rich and famous and only desire more for the luxurious life. I have a message to these moronic "musicians." Quit spending your money on pointless commodities! It will last longer if you all were not so greedy and wasteful!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
And be a smart wealthy person? Sure. I never said money was bad; people can just be stupid with it. Plus, signing to a major label doesn't always guarantee success, especially in metal. It would be fun to do the touring thing, though.
Band History:
Once upon a time four guys formed a band. The end.
Your influences?
I love questions like this. I would definately say that the other local bands definately had an impact along with the big guys. We personally have many influences. The bands that have influenced us or we just enjoy listening to are: Lambotomy, Deaddlock, Dead by Eight, Legion, Severed Offering,Octagon, Driven by Suffering, Chains of Flesh, Beneath, Soilent Green, SkinKrawl, Goatwhore, Shakespeare in Hell, The Black Dahlia Murder, Mayhem, Darkthrone, Burzum, Immortal, Satyricon, Demise, Dimmu Borgir, Children of Bodom, Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Skinless, Nile, Obituary, December, Naglfar, Arcturus, and many more.
