Peace, Welcome to the home of Eric Ellington. I'm currently a college student at UNC-Chapel Hill, but I represent Asheville, North Carolina. I'm 18 years old, and I've been a dedicated hip-hop artist for 6 years. What you will find on this page is info about me and my albums, as well as links for downloading a few of my strongest songs I've made or produced. Enjoy!

E. Ellington
Why this name?
I've been through tons of different names, but in the end I wanted something that's really going to stick. So I just used my full name.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Possibly. What I am aiming for is to have full control over every aspect of my music, but also have the necessary distribution to get my material out to a widespread audience.
Band History:
I started off as an artist back in June of 1999. I was 12 then, and I saved up enough money to put together a small studio in the basement of the house me and my family had just moved into. I acquired more and more musical equipment to add onto the studio, and that process still continues today. By 2000, I had released my first album, "When I'm On your Block." This was overall simply a test to find out how I sounded over a few simple, quick and easy-to-make rap tracks. I used the next three years to focus all of my efforts on taking my music to a new level in the album, "Would you Like Fries with That?" As of right now I have just finished my third album, "Facing the Music" which features guest appearances from many new and upcoming artists. The majority of the songs in the music section are from this album.
Your influences?
Rock, hip-hop, jazz, blues, techno, even a little classical...As I've gotten older and older, I've found at least one song in every music category that I love to listen to. This influences how my songs sound because the beats come from samples of all different music genres.
Favorite spot?
New York City...couldn't live there, but I love visiting.
Equipment used:
