Condition Red is a Punk rock`n`Roll band from Hamburg, Germany. The explosive live show offers a choice of own material and a variety of covers, which will be played on demand. Also old Rock`n`Roll - , Soul - , R`n`B - , Reggae - and Country - classics are being mutilated. Condition Red have recorded a 13 - track CD and two tracks for a north - German Punk / Rock`n`Roll compilation. One of the CD tracks also appears on the "Old Skars & Upstarts 2002" compilation on Disaster Records. New recordings have been made and are waiting for release. We do, but not as often as we´d like to.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Unsigned bands have a better chance to reach people, especially people that don`t live in their area or not even in their country or continent. Most of the emails we get from our homepage (www.conditionred.de) are not from Germany. So that way people can listen to our music that never would have heard of us without internet/mp3s.
Another good effect is that the major labels will have to make CDs cheaper, because as long as they are unreasonably expensive people will keep on downloading or copying them.

Band History:
Condition Red were formed in 1990 by the remaining members of the 80`s Punk band "Flowers of Death", bassist Howie and drummer Henning . After using up a couple of guitarists they ended up with madman Henry (ex-Grown)in 1993, who still doesn`t seem to get fed up with these two nutters. Gigs in northern Germany included support shows for The Damned, Social Distortion, Bad Religion, U.S. Bombs, Chelsea, Havana 3 AM and Sonny Vincent.
