Loud, intense rock screaming out of the acoustic jam band northeast, yes, we're on a mission. Fashion Fashion!: think early emo and contemporary indie pop and mayhap you can get a sense, but really, just click download.
Why this name?
We were hanging out at practice before our first show and we each suggested some names, and at the last minute Riz was like hey how about something like Fashion Fashion! and we were like hell yeah
Do you play live?
So far we've only played live on and around the Dartmouth College campus (ew) but hopefully we'll be playing shows in the Concord area soon.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's too early to tell. Download our songs. That will change your music industry. Maybe.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Surely. At the moment, the industry still works the same way it always has. Except the music is made by corporate ass-clowns now instead of musicians.
Band History:
Been playing on and around the Dartmouth campus since October 2003... a combination of Mat Brown (Degenerate Art, Holden, Mat on Mat) Calvin Richardson and Brian Foley (Drug) Riz Mahmud (Husky Dave) and Lindsey Davis (welcome to rock girl!). We recorded our e.p. in December 2003.
Your influences?
Death Cab for Cutie, Rainer Maria, Last Days of April, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Azure Ray, The Get Up Kids, yeah we like indie
Favorite spot?
Can one really answer this question on behalf of five people?
Equipment used:
Well the only particularly notable piece of equipment we use is Linds's synth, it's a Korg Poly 800, all old school analog style, it is lovely. Other than that you know guitars and drums and the like.
