Hello. We're the Smokey Wambas (Chance Worth Taking), a band hell bent on creating fresh, exciting and interesting music. Inspired by great punk/indie bands, the stuff we write isnt quite like anything you've ever heard. So check us out!
..no seriously.. check us out..

Why this name?
Chris Wamba came up with our band name. He loves it too. Chance Worth Taking was more spur of the moment.
Do you play live?
In the western Ma. area. Most notably with national bands bands such as: the Arrogant Sons of bi***es, Jimmies Chicken Shack, Kicked in the Head, The Misfits and Agent Orange, Big D and the Kids Table, Folly, Rookie of the Year, Blackpool Lights and Nine Days.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We think its great that bands can get out there and interact with each other over the internet. It makes booking and researching bands a hell of a lot easier. Plus its nice to have people checking out the Mp3's we post up.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah we would. Music is definitely something that we all want to do with our lives. If we could support ourselves with our music and write killer material without distraction, we'd be estatic.
Plus the ladies. Ooh ooh the ladies.
