NEWS   Finally Digital Baby is here. After months of setbacks, I decided to give up on holding it off until I could do a physical release, and release it digitally. After all it's been done for months. It costs just $2.99 and with your mp3 album purchase you receive 2 additional tracks "What have we done?" and "Jaime's Song."

Also head into the music section and get the free EP "Time to Bring Back Humanity" which I was due to put out in 2006, but wasn't playing gigs (and as such didn't deem it necessary to make copies).

Do you play live?
I love playing gigs, I've played a couple in London and a good few in Medway. I've had a few set backs when it comes to it though, a hand injury put me out for a while, which drove me mad. I had a great time playing in the caves at Fort Amherst, the atmospherics were incredible. Probably the best gigging moment I've ever had was at the Urban bar in Whitechapel, I silenced a noisy crowd with a very gentle ballad.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a double edged sword, it's easier than ever to distribute muic, but easier to steal it also. What concerns me most is the myspace generation who no longer need to leave their bedrooms, who add a band to their friends, and if they like them torrent everything and don't go to shows or buy cd's. I've noticed a major decrease in numbers at local venues since myspace came in. At the same time you need to have a myspace page to get noticed. I guess it's down to bands to pull in the right kind of people.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't understand artists who refuse to sign to a major label, or fans who hate bands for it, why wouldn't you want a larger audience?
Your influences?
I love most music, but when it comes to writing my own stuff I tend to lean more towards progressive rock, with that said I have to write a memorable song, I'm a sucker for a hook. I think that's the most important thing, you can be the best guitarist in the world, if no-one remembers the songs you play, it's wasted.
Equipment used:
Cheap guitars, a mac with garageband, plenty of plugins a decent akg mic and a Laney VC15.
Anything else...?
Just a big thank you to my good friends for their love and support to make sure I survived some tough times.
