Your influences?
Southern Gospel and Christian Country as well as some Traditional Country Artists. Dottie Rambo - The Crabb Family (I love the writing style of Gerald Crabb and Dottie Rambo) - I have a very diverse taste for music... I like everything from Bluegrass to R&B to Country and Folk...No Rap No Hip Hop! I love good, sound and powerful lyrics...I love writing and the energy of being in the studio is a great feeling...and listening to the final mix of a new song is a thrill for me... I have a great producer (Steve "Bulldog" Bivins) and have learned a lot over the course of a few years...I like being a part of the mix down process because I have to be happy with what comes out of the speakers...I like clarity in my music...I want to hear each instrument clearly ...I want the folks who listen to my music to get the quality they deserve!
Favorite spot?
I love looking at skylines of cities as I enter them...especially at night... I do all my recording in Nashville and I never tire of seeing the city come into view. I also love Dallas Tx by night its a lovely city to look at but I don't like to drive there.
However I love the simple country living with the slow pace of life...So even though I like cities I love the open space of country/rural living. I like to be able to go outside and not hear or see my neighbors.
