Wut's cracking... It's your boy tHAi fOOn!
Why this name?
I was trying to find a spinoff of my real name "Thai". I feel my best traits as an emcee is my delivery and flow. So I came up with a typhoon because it is a destructive force of nature known for its winds (flows). That's how I came up with Da tHAi fOOn.
Do you play live?

Performing live for a 2000+ crowd!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it gives low budget beginning musician the ability to have their music heard over a broad range of listeners. This in turn would give the musician more feedback and more knowledge to elevate themselves.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
$$$ Money rules the world! J/K But of course why wouldn't I get paid for doing the thing I love most.
Band History:
I've been mesmerized by the world of Hip Hop ever since I was 12 or 13 when I first copped the The Chronic by Dr. Dre. I was primarily religous to the West Coast Gangsta Rappers (Tupac, Snoop, DPG, Warren G etc) in my early years, but due to the west/east coast beef between my two favorites poets/philosophist/emcee's Tupac and Biggie I began to forget my prejudice towards the east coast and began listening to Biggie, Wu Tang Clan, Big Pun, Rakim, KRS-One and many others. The thing I love about Hip Hop is the freedom of expression. The emotion and power you possess when bleeding your heart over the microphone. I'm on a constant pursuit for elevation and that's the beauty of this art form. There is no ceiling to determine where your ability can be capped.
Your influences?
Tupac, Biggie, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Nas, Jay - Z
Favorite spot?
I've always wanted to go to New York, to be engulfed in the essence of Hip Hop where it originated.
