Bad Seedz is a rapcore group from Da Dirrtay South, TN. Deeply influenced by hip-hop and hardcore metal.
Why this name?
Definition: bad.seed

Do you play live?
Bad Seedz is still on the local Middle Tennessee scene. After a 4 year hiatis, we're back in action!
The kid's here in middle TN (Nashville, Murfreesboro, McMinnville..etc.) are off da hook. Our last show was insane. Kids were diving off the stage, breakin legs..crazy. We brought up half the house on stage with us to dance while we did a cover of House of Pain's "Jump Around."

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Mp3's are a way for people to hear your new sh*** and be down. We're able to reach the world through the internet before we get signed. If we can't play your town or country yet, you cans till be down wit da Seedz through the internet.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Absolutely. I'd be a liar if I told you I just play music for fun. Music is our life. Some of us in the band have real jobs to pay the bills, but each one of us would leave it to make the big time. People think it's selling out to get signed. But they help you fund everything. Tour's, Cd's, Merchandise, etc. Besides, We wanna be on MTV (or M2) too! Just like Bushwick Bill said "If it don't make dollar's, then it don't make cents (sense)"

1999 was the year it started. From the bowel's beneath the streets of Tennessee, Bad Seedz were born. Mike B. aka..Kemo was partnered with Joonya, and Dave aka..Natas. And soon, down from the mountain to join them was the man they call SuperBuzz!
After only a few shows, the Bad Seedz phenomenon was on it's way to the top of local acts. A couple of months later, the fire looked to have burned out. Or, so it seemed!
Like a Phoenix rising from the hot ashes, reborn once more. Many have waited, some have feared the return of the Seedz!

We use what ever we can get our hands on. Superbuzz plays a Fender Telecaster, a Gibson SG, and Crate amps.
Joonya plays Pearl drums, dave. plays a custom Ibanez 5-string with an SWR head and Hartke cabs, and I (Kemo) use a Nady 1001 wireless mic, 2 Gemini 500 II turntables & mixer, Audio Choice PA's.
