I am only one of seven artist that I collab with. I have been rapping for about twelve years and I do it strictly for love and therapy; I use my music as a conduit for my pain, love, and repression. My crew and I have been doing this thang for about five years and counting. We don't plan to stop anytime soon. My crew (whom is part of my family) plays a critical role in my self-developement and inspire me more than many of the artist that exist today. I'll take this time to tell them thank you and I love you all genuiley. Hopefully I'll get some of their music on this site as well in the mere future. Please listen and enjoy with an open heart and mind.
Why this name?
My name best explains my complex and jaded spirit. "Heart full of love but attitude is sh***y."
Do you play live?
We've played many local shows on campus here in Natchitoches, La (Northwestern State University), some in Alexandria, La (my hometown), and in Baton Rouge (some of my crew hometown). Some bad; Some good; But I will cherish all of the expierences we shared as a crew. Each show made us grow as artist and as people.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It grants the underground scene to share their music and experiences with the world without the hassle of dealing with big corportations.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Don't know as of this point. Just wanna make good music and inspire.
Band History:
Swift and I grew up together. We are first cousins but I call him my brother. He used to rap when I was 11 and he was 12. He and his brother (who is also my brother and sings now) inspired me to pick up the pen. These guys were witty and original. I then met up with Madness A.K.A Fatts along with another friend (Dark Angel) and formed the Darkside. That phase passed and led to Madness and I forming Madness and Mayhemm. I then met Chris A.K.A Smoove and formed the group along with my other cousin Trae and Swift to form Thowed Click. Then in college I met the other half of my crew from Baton Rouge Lil Wit and Rashi. We (Swift, Smoove, Mayhemm, Wit, and Rashi) formed Revelation and dropped a Maxi-Single. Soon after Lil Wit dropped his first solo (I'm so proud to say because he worked so hard) in 2001 and just dropped another during this Summer. The other members of the crew have all been making music but still haven't dropped anything. Be on the lookout for it soon. Very Soon!
