We thought we had a record deal...:
Turns out Question Mark don't want us, unless we're ready to sign over our souls for pennies...
Outstandin' goes Producer:
Outstandin' have agreed to promote and market "Studd". If all goes well, the band will be looking into starting up a studio, which will enable us to do tracks, and perhaps start a label eventually.

Yes, We dance... Yes, we sing. Yes we rap. But Outstandin' is more than a stage show. In the city of Lagos, Nigeria... a city overshadowed by corruption and hedonism, Outstandin' are part of a "backwards rebellion" - an 'underground' movement towards positivity. Bringing a somewhat urban sound that continues to push for eclecticism, Outstandin' are a band in the earliest stages of evolution.
Why this name?
Outstandin':
- Distinguished from others of its kind in excellence ;having a quality that thrusts itself into attention ;of major significance or importance: There are many bands like us. We aim to be different
-Still in existence; not settled or resolved: As a band, we feel as if we are only at the beginning of our journey. Therefore many things are still outstanding.

Do you play live?
We do some live music, but mostly dance. Special moment: We once forgot our lines on stage and had to blag the whole song! It ended up better than the original version.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
its great because it eliminates long walks to stores and provides music to people who couldnt get it before. It could never replace the real deal though.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If we had the chance, yes we would.
Your influences?
Most gospel hip hop and urban acts, however we all have our own quirky, unique tastes - Nuff likes Frank Sinatra!
Favorite spot?
Shadel - My Closet
Q-Blaze - Under the 'chandelier' on my dining table
Flippie - My room
Nuff - Love England, would love to see a lot more of Europe

Equipment used:
We actually use more equipment than instruments! Sequencers, digital studios, anything we can get our hands on!
Anything else...?
We're not just a 'faceless' band who just do the music, we've got our faults and real life issues and struggles including our relationships with each other and with our creator.
