I think the internet is another form of media that gives artist a alternate media to reach the people. But at the same time it gives fans the oppurtunity to verify the quality of the product so a consumer buying a CD and being disappointed by the album, should never occur again. (This means artist cant slack, everything has to be FYRE!) Without the internet you would never have heard of SIN?

I started off writing rhymes trying to sound like my favorite artists in the late 80s/early 90s. Then in 1997 I moved to Norfolk, VA to begin college and met some guys that was doing the same thing I was. We all had rhymes with no tracks of our own. We came together and scrapped up some change and bought studio programs for our computers and by mid-98 we were making tracks 24/7. Well time passed and communication was lost due to various reasons. In 2000 then new Millenium brought introduced me to a synthesizer and I learned the basic piano scale and from then on I have been making music for the soul, attempting to capture an emotion in every note I play, riff I make or word that I say.

After my college days my son was born and in 2003 I moved, once again, back to Central Virginia where I linked back up with the high school homie "Lil Rue" and formed Cheyeee Entertainment. Illa got on the team soon after and from there on you can meet us at the top!

I am influenced by everything: Gospel, R&B, HipHop, Rap, Rock, Pop, House, Reggae, Soul(especially the SOUL). Some of my favorite producers are Kanye West, Organized Noize, Hi-Tek, Mark 45 King, Buddy Miles (RIP), 9th Wonder, Jaydee (R.I.P.), Lil Jon, David Banner, Rafael Saadiq and the list goes on.
