Simple emotional expression.
While the music I've created says something to me, the chances are it will say something completely different to you - so crank up the volume and don't fight it.

Why this name?
Since turning into a full-on geek i've carried the handle "wEvil" just about everywhere i've gone. Actually an anagram of my name, an expanded version grew into NewEvil.
The objective meaning of NewEvil is a fight against the root cause of many of our problems in these mediocre times - apathy.

Do you play live?
Currently I've managed to sneak in some tracks at a few parties to the sound of collective dropping jaws.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's hilighted a certain reticence in the music industry to change and adapt to new conditions as evidenced by the continual spate of lawsuits spewing out of the RIAA.
It is endemic of a larger problem within humans collectively that we will cling to whatever is safe rather than ride the wave of change... and as i'm sure will be evidenced - clinging to the old will only result in a more painful transition.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If a major label can demonstrate the will to alter their business model to remain competitive by innovation rather than restriction and also demonstrate the basic professional competence required in such a competitive industry I see no reason why I shouldn't.
Band History:
NewEvil is currently a personal project run on the side from my "day job" as a 3D artist.

Equipment used:
a very fast graphics workstation with some generic sequencing software.
Anything else...?
Coming from a graphics background I have an extremely visual imagination - not to mention I don't have to pay anyone for my visual designs!
