My name is Nate Bolling. I'm a singer/songwriter based in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas area. I sing and i play a wide variety of instruments, but generally stick to the guitar and the piano.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes music more widely available to more people. Yes, the industry loses some money, but i dont personally think that its that considerable. the price of music is too high anyway.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would do whatever I could to allow myself to play as much as I can and afford to eat.
Your influences?
I like lots of different stuff, but i dont think that the wide variety of music i listen to influences my own music as much. I listen to alot of mellow and acoustic-oriented stuff and i think that that influences what i write alot. Stuff like Edwin McCain, Jars of Clay, Tonic, John Mayer, Counting Crows, Collective Soul, Coldplay, Duncan Sheik, Ben Folds, Guster and Lifehouse.
