JTB stands for (Jewels The Barber).Jewels always been my name in the streets and I'm a barber by trade.

Yes....I've opened up for Cuban Link and preformed at various other functions.Open mics,battles,talent showcases and rap contests ect.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

World wide exposure and also its a new easy way to network and make new contacts.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

I don't know.I'm not a big fan of these sheisty ass industry people.But,if I did sign,the math would have to be correct(publishing royalties ect.)I'm not really TOO anxious to sign right now though.

Band History:

I been rhymin for about 11 years.Hip hop is a part of me and who I am.Its my 1st love.I feel like hip hop is at its absolute worst right now,and that a lot of these young heads that rhyme or try to rhyme are extremely mislead by what they hear on the radio and see in the videos now a days.Study some hip hop history and you will understand what I mean.The true essense of all the elements in hip hop are missing and it's very sad.If you browse around soundclick.com you will notice that everyone thinks they can rap or make beats when 99% of them are horrible and have 0% talent.So to all you corny Fruity Loops wanna-be producers and wanna be baller so called emcees, my message is....Get a reality check!!!

Well...there are WAY too many to name.But I'm gonna start with Rakim,krs-1,big daddy kane,LL,Slick Rick,Redman,Nas,Big Pun,Masta Ace,DJ Red Alert.Also other types of artists like Frank Sinatra,Tito Puente,Hector Lavoe,Frankie Ruiz,Stevie Wonder.And the list goes on.

Favorite spot?

New York City and definatley Jersey cause thats where I'm from.My favorite place to get away and bugg out is South Beach (Miami).
