We currently play in and around Glasgow but all of the musicians have played in other line-ups in the past.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It blows it wide open and helps to free the public from the grip of bland neutered pap endorsed by the major labels

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes, because they still have the promotional clout and it's important to reach a large audience

Glam Fakir came into existence in 2003 as a persona because of the camp rock tracks which we'd mainly been recording..

early 70's Bolan and Bowie and Lou Reed tinged with Sensational Alex Harvey (a local hero)and the Clash

Favorite spot?

Overlooking the Clyde Estuary from the Hills above Port Glasgow
