Whats up? Corndog and Sleddog in the house. We are the Sesame Street Gangsters or SSG for short, our music is all fresh original beats which we rap and sing to, always trying to put humor in every song we do.

Why this name?

I (Corndog) was drunk at a bar and someone asked what are band's name was, and Sesame Street Gangsters just came out, everyone around me laughed and it was set in stone.

Do you play live?

Yes, we are currently on probation so we can't leave Washington State, so all our shows are done in Olympia, Tacoma or Seattle and neighboring towns. We also play Portland & Vancouver a lot, when we "slip" out of the state. P.O.'s can suck a phat one.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

People can download anything they want. It Rocks. Now they don't have to pay for music they can get it for free, and just spend money on porn and various things to shove up their butt.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Hell no, we want to be losers the rest of are lives, just kidding of course we would.

we've been playing/making up songs for 5 or 6 years,
before anyone on the west coast knew who eminem even was.

Your influences?

Someone once said that we are like Weird Al meets 2 Live Crew on shrooms, we're comedy rap, with funny lyrics and tight beats

we like alot of music out there like Pink Floyd, NIN, Primus, Pantera, Hendrix, Bob Marley, NWA, U2,
SSG, and of course us the Sesame Street Gangsters, although we don't sound anything like the bands we like

Favorite spot?

Las Vegas, in a broke down tour bus with no money

Equipment used:

our whole album SSG and our up and coming 2nd album was all made on a ROLAND JX-305 GROOVESYNTH. This keyboard has a built in sequencer and then we play guitar and bass and rap and sing with it.
