Hola! My name is Denise (aka bubblingsoul to my on-line buddies). Just a hobbyist who likes to make music and collaborate with friends.

Not professionally recorded - mostly scratch tapes posted here of some ideas for my own stuff and a few collaborations as well. Have a listen! The recording quality and levels vary, so you will probably have to adjust your speakers accordingly.

Why this name?

It chose me! LOL

Do you play live?

Yes - live - but only occasionally. Last year I played a few open mics . . . would like to continue in that vein if I can.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Certainly more opportunities for little nobodies like me to share their music with others . . . reaching people on a small scale is fantastic!

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

And give up my day job? LOL

Mary Chapin Carpenter, K.T. Tunstall, Dan Fogelberg, Juliet Turner, Schooner Fare (folk), Loreena McKinnett, Caedmon's Call that's enough for now I guess - those are the ones who first come to mind . . .

Favorite spot?

My big comfy purple chair!
