Rodney McBride
NEWS   Rodney McBride will also be part of the production team for Louisville native and gospel music veteran, songwriter and artist Donald Watkins. In the late 1980's and early 90's Donald Watkins was one of the premier gospel music artist in the field after having recorded with GOSPEARL Records the hit album "He Got Up". His sophomore project, "When Jesus Comes For Me " was tapped by the Benson Group to head the Black Gospel Music Division to which he with assistance from Gentry McCreary and Butch McGhee signed Richard Smallwood and the Smallwood Singers, Thomas Whitfield, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, the Don Degrate Delegation, and Keith Pringle. The project entitled "God Is In Control" will have songs from a live session scheduled to be recorded March 27th at The Rock Cosmopolitan Church along with also several studio cuts. Producers for the project will be Rodney McBride, Sheldon Beasley & Lisha Turner.

Rodney McBride is the President/Ceo of the Executive Structure Productions, Rodney McBride's Music and the executive producer of the Rodney McBride Arts Society 501c(3). He is also an independent producer that operates a digital recording studio.
Why this name?
I realized that I was doing everything so I just put my name to everything.
Do you play live?
Yes - I am a Hammond Organist and I sometimes play concert piano
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It definitely opens up the market and provides artist other avenues of exposure
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes - if if it was a P & D deal.
Band History:
Executive Structure Productions produces, records, promotes and distributes several local and national artists. Rodney McBride's Music is the publishing component that catalogues and administrates over 400 musical works. The Rodney McBride Arts Society is the vehicle that gives artists a forum/venue for performance and artistic display to the general public. With this combination of musical entities, Mr. McBride has become one of the leading new executives in the music industry.

Rodney was educated in the Pittsburgh public School System and was a member of the All-City Jr. and Sr. Bands and Orchestras from the 6th grade until graduation from high school. He began playing the piano at the age of 9 and became a church organist at age 11. After graduating from high school, Rodney went on to become a session musician at Westside Records in London, England where he learned and perfected his production abilities. Upon his return from Europe he attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Univ. of Maryland and City Colleges of Chicago and earned his BA from Trinity University.

Mr. McBride provides music for the following services: music workshops, seminars, live/studio recording sessions, radio and television commercials, and movie soundtracks. His organizations have recorded and released several gospel, rap and instrumental projects. Rodney's mission is to bring out the best in each individual's talents and abilities by providing comprehensive quality service that consists of creating, developing and outlet.

He has been trained by some of the best in music i.e., Dr. Mattie Moss-Clark, Twinkie Clark, Leonard Johnson, Joe Harris, Carl Iezzi, Vince Monteleone and Sangeeve Varma.
