My band is called The Smokin' Ace. You'll be hearing a lot more about it soon. I'm currently finishing writing several brand new blues songs and will start production in the first quarter of next year. The songs need to be tweaked a little because I want them to be perfect. When it's done, it'll be some of the hottest Blues you ever heard. The song on this site, "Call 911" featuring Jimmy Hall is a preview, but I got some even better ones than that. Stay Tuned!

Why this name?
Marc Abrams Music is the name of my production company and I am the aforementioned Marc Abrams. My writing name is Marc Alan Abrams. There is a Hollywood writer named Marc Abrams. I've had it a lot longer than him but I use my middle name to avoid confusion. Besides, every songwriter needs 3 names, don't you think?
Do you play live?
You can hear me most Thursday nights at Ragamuffin Music Hall in Roswell GA plus I'll play sometimes in Nashville and Los Angeles.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It got people listening to my music, didn't it?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I have a couple of cuts but I don't aggressively pursue many opportunities. There are far too many talented writers out there. If someone heard one of my songs and was genuinely interested, I would sign.
