Why this name?
Inspired by the character Mallory Knox from the movie Natural Born Killers.
Do you play live?
I play live any chance I get. Any where I can. I love to perform live - it's a high unlike no other.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives a chance for unsigned artists to gain a lot of needed exposure, and the great thing is you can access the world through the internet, there are no boundaries, a lot of opportunities for up and coming artists.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
The paperwork would have to be straight. If my attorney thinks it looks good, I'm not against signing with a major, but I will never sell my soul for a deal and will never compromise my talent and lyrics either. The majors think they know everything and how you should sound, etc. They like to take the you out of you and I'm not havin' it. But, if things are right, and it feels right with my heart, then by all means, that would be great.
Band History:
I've been doin' this since 96. I started writin' rhymes here and there and then started recording my songs on other rapper's instrumentals at home on a cheap old stereo system. Started recording professionally in 98 and haven't slowed down since. My first album is finished - Love Me or Hate me. I'm in the process of working on #2 and of course, I'm part of the group THE ALLIANCE (NC) that is on soundclick as well. Constantly trying to stay busy doing everything I can to take it to the next level - and contrary to popular belief - just because of the way I 'look'-does not make it any easier.
Your influences?
2Pac, Big L, Nas, Biggie, Jay-Z, Salt -N- Pepa
Favorite spot?
My favorite spot on earth is in the booth and on stage rockin' the mic

Anything else...?
I touch on a lot of different subjects from stories, life to God so it's hard to really put me into one strict category - but it's all hip hop and I always speak from the heart. I just let the beats speak to me and let s#@t flow out, ya know. Oh - and to all the hatas - keep hatin' - keep talkin' - keep my name in ya mouth -I ain't mad at ya!
