AHJAI BIO:

Ahjai started playing drums at the age of 4. At age 7, he began singing and performing many of Michael Jackson's songs at family functions. That year he began dance class where he learned Jazz, Ballet, Modern, and Tap. Each year he would perform in a dance recital. At age 10, he decided to sing and dance at his recital to a medley of Michael Jackson's songs. The overwhelming response he received that night attracted a talent scout who started him on a path to pursue a professional career in singing and dancing.

At age 11, he became a contestant on Apollo and began auditioning for commercials and plays. He has been in an Immitrex commercial, performed a dance routine at Madison Square Garden during half time, was in a Japanese music video, and received a part in the off Broadway production of Mandela where he played young Mandela. He has also been involved in acting workshops and acting classes at HB Studios.

At age 13, he was in his first group called Triple Threat and shortly thereafter decided to pursue a solo career as a writer and an artist. Now in 2004, he is 16 years old and still pushing forward.
