EMP1RE. Starting a new legion of soldiers to band together and bring hip hop into a new light. No more bullshit. No more sh*** talking. Straight up realness in the art of music and entertainment.
Why this name?
Empire seemed pretty slick. We wanted a name that shed light on what we believed and what we are trying to accomplish, yet something easy and plain but catchy. So... Empire came up.
Do you play live?
Yes, but we have yet to play together live. On seperate occasions as solo artists we have played live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Helps us expand our horizons. No need to put all your music on the web or else you ain't making any money. But it helps a great deal with promotion.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
For lack of better words "HELL f***ING YA!!!"
Band History:
We both have similar views and similar styles so it was only natural that two guys with similar tastes and values for the love of the game would hook up and rip some mics apart. This began Jan.1st 2004.
Your influences?
We got too many to name. Everyone who is in the game for the love of the game is our influence... Oh.. and for the love of the money.
Favorite spot?
Vancity!!Red Deer AB, T.dot, Calgary AB and Edmonton AB.
