The name was taken from a news article about a chicken factory into a Swedish newspaper. (Chicken Factory = Kycklingfabriken, in Swedish)

1999
Kycklingfabriken (Chickenfactory) was born in Stockholm, Sweden in June 1999 by Julius Guldfjun and Teddy Dustin, and in July 1999 Birdie Daddy also became a member. The first album was complete in december 1999 (and recorded to CD in janury 2000).

After the first album Julius Guldfjun and Teddy Dustin wanted to quit, but that was not for so very long time.

2000
February 2000. Teddy Dustin was back in the band, and in may 2000 Julius Guldfjun also was back again, and at the same time Chicken Vempire became a new member in the band.

The second album was complete in september 2000. After the second album Teddy Dustin, Julius Guldfjun and Chicken Vempire wanted to quit KF because they couldn't spend time on the band as much that the wanted.

Now Birdie Daddy was solo, but he didn't gave up, he instead recorded his second solo album and also completed a Kycklingfabriken collection CD of instrumental tracks, and later also a collection of all so called B'Sides and rare recordings.

2001
There was a try to resurrect Kycklingfabriken in June 2001 with the original line-up but nothing happened at that time.

November 2001. Birdie Daddy resurrected Kycklingfabriken with the two new members Roy The Eskimo and Computer Rooster and together they recorded two EP's.

2002
April 2002. Teddy Dustin did a comeback and together with the band he recorded the third album, and in october 2002 it was complete.

After the third album, Roy The Eskimo and Computer Rooster wanted to quit because they didn't like Teddy Dustin at all, but Teddy Dustin and Birdie Daddy started to record new songs for a new album, but they soon dicovered that they needed a new member if they wanted to bring back the old sound and spirit in the band.

2003
February 2003. Fridus Lilja became a new member for a short time, but he didn?t like Teddy Dustin so he quit.

Later in 2003 M?kmolnet (the fart-cloud) became a new member in the band and he was a perfect replacement for Fridus Lilja and others before him.

2004
Many things happened in 2004, In march 2004 the band released the EP Felv?nda ?gg. And later in September Birdie Daddy re-released the three first KF albums into new remaster versions. And in December 2004 the band released the christmas single Tillbaks till ?gget.

2005
The band had a very lazy year, but some new songs was recorded for the fourth album.

2006
In 2006 the old band members Roy The Eskimo and Chicken Vempire released solo records (see below) and the same year the 4th album KF4: The Number of the Birds was released.

2007
October 25, the release day of the remix EP Aggrora & Kycklingsallad: KF Remixar av Birdie Daddy. December 20, the release day of God Jul Din Djavul, Har Far Du!

2008
A little lazy year for the band, but things goes on in the studio.
Birdie Daddy and Teddy Dustin played live at Eurocop (radio) in Sep 7.

2009
December 21, the release of the mini X-mas album; Julen Suger!
December 29, the release of Gyllene Agg, det basta av KF 99-09.

2010
Not much was done, just some recording, no releases.

2011
April 22, the release of Valkommen till Darhuset. (Happy Easter!)
