Fireign are an independent Canadian metal band from the province of Newfondland.
Why this name?
becasue we were pissed off at the fact that every other band name was taken, so we invented a word so we wouldn't get any more legal threats!!
Do you play live?
Yeah of course we do, doesn't every band? I hate it when people ask us that.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is a huge promotional tool, it's 70% of the reason we are who we are. If we didn't have the internet, we wouldn't be getting orders from Australia.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
F*** yeah. Labels have money, especially big ones... the means the funding is there so that we can reach our full potential.
Your influences?
Arch Enemy, Motorhead, Burzum, Iron Maiden.... too many to name.
Favorite spot?
Newfoundland!!!
